Fire Horse Frames and Fine Art Editions offers state of the art limited edition works created on the Epson 7600 Printer. The Epson uses UltraChrome inks which are the finest inks available in digital printmaking today. The archival inks are printed on archival papers which make the entire process comparable in quality to that of traditional serigraphs. These prints range in longevity from 120-150 + years under normal lighting conditions.
Each print produced in the studio is color proofed by the artist, then hand-signed and numbered. A collaboration between artist and framer completes the final stages where frame sizes and colours are discussed. Every piece of wood is hand selected, hand cut, then sanded + painted with several coats of custom-mixed milkpaints which can be finished to a fine chalk, waxed or semi-gloss finish.
Museum Quality papers such as Arches Infinity and Somerset Velvet are the galleries favourite choices. We tend to prefer fine art paper to canvas in this process, and we also offer embellished prints with pastel, charcoal, gold leaf and paper collaging which are then considered one-of-a-kind works.
We offer Certificates of Authenticity for all works purchased from our gallerie.
